Cycle World partnership fuels future

The Parkhurst Auction is named for Cycle World's founder, Joe Parkhurst, a great believer in the importance of education.

More children with brain tumors are living longer thanks to the motorcycling community’s support of Ride for Kids and the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation. When these survivors reach college age, however, medical bills have taken their toll on family finances.

The Cycle World Joseph C. Parkhurst Education Fund is here to help. Created to honor the memory of the magazine’s founding publisher, the fund hosts an annual auction of rare, collectible motorcycle memorabilia to give college scholarships for brain tumor survivors.

The Parkhurst Auction has funded more than 1,000 scholarships since it began in 2002. This year the auction will be a live breakfast event at the American International Motorcycle Expo in Orlando.

Help Joe help the kids! Donate an item for the next auction here and fuel the future for brain tumor survivors.
