Brain Tumour Patients’ Charter of Rights
The Brain Tumour Patients’ Charter of Rights equips brain tumor patients and their families with knowledge of the rights they can ask for and rights the global brain tumor community is working toward, including standards for excellent treatment, appropriate support, disease education, and respectful communication beginning at the moment of diagnosis.
The Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation partnered with the International Brain Tumour Alliance (IBTA) to represent the pediatric patient perspective in the Charter’s development and joins organizations from around the world in endorsing the Charter.
Families of a child diagnosed with a brain tumor can download the Brain Tumour Patients’ Charter of Rights by clicking the cover below and may find it helpful in creating a plan for what matters most to them during treatment and when navigating school, work and all that follows.
