Family Support Program

If a child you love has been diagnosed with a brain tumor, you are in a very difficult place. We want you to know that you are not alone.

Our social worker can answer many of your questions. Please email us at any time, or call 800-253-6530.

Resource library
We also offer many resources to help you learn more about the journey ahead. It's essential for you to educate yourself to become an advocate for your child's care. Our resource library has booklets and MP3s on many topics relevant to your struggle.

Our materials, many of which are also available in Spanish, are available at no charge to parents, medical and social work professionals, and educational institutions.

College scholarships
We launched our scholarship program in 2002 to assist families devastated by the cost of medical care to save the lives of their children. Since that time, we've awarded more than 1,000 scholarships for brain tumor survivors to attend vocational schools, community colleges and universities across the United States.

Ride for Kids
The Ride for Kids program brings motorcyclists together with patient families in their community. In addition to being a significant source of funding for the PBTF, the program has raised national awareness about childhood brain tumors.

Each Ride for Kids event includes a celebratory program that serves as a support group for patient families. Survivors, siblings and their parents are the guests of honor for the day as they interact with other families. This program honors survivors as well as those who are no longer with us.

We can be reached at 800-253-6530 or by email.
