SoCal Dual Sport and Adventure Ride
The SoCal Dual Sport and Adventure Ride for Kids celebrated its 25th anniversary by raising over $53,000 for the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation – exceeding the ride's fundraising goal.
More than 215 people gathered at Glen Helen Raceway on April 8, 2017 to show their support for local childhood brain tumor survivors like PBTF Stars Izaiah, Brandon and Ardan.
Riders completed an approximately 100-mile self-guided dual sport route through the San Bernardino National Forest, with special guests Larry Little, PBTF Board Chair and Vice President and General Manager of MIC Events at the Motorcycle Industry Council, and Keith Dowdle of national presenting sponsor American Honda, in attendance.
Volunteer task force leaders Keith Huff and Paul Flanders helped organize the SoCal ride that kicked off the 2017 Ride for Kids season.
Donations are still being accepted online at www.rideforkids.org/socal, and fundraisers will receive incentive credit through May 8, 2017.
