About the PBTF
Established in 1991, the PBTF is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Asheville, N.C. We are the world’s largest non-governmental source of funding for childhood brain tumor research. We also provide educational resources and emotional support for brain tumor survivors and their families.
The PBTF employs 20 full-time employees and is assisted by hundreds of volunteers around the United States. Our annual budget of $5 million is supported primarily by the Ride for Kids program, a national series of fundraising motorcycle rides that our founders began in 1984.
The PBTF is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
